Create an NCSL Foundation Account

Create an account to easily register for events and sign up for newsletters that cover a wide range of policy areas and news relevant to state legislatures. This guide will help you through the process.

Benefits

Each sponsorship level comes with a set of benefits designed to enhance your engagement with NCSL and its members. From invitations to leadership meetings to complimentary registrations, be sure to take full advantage of your sponsorship. Of course, you are welcome to upgrade your sponsorship level to unlock additional benefits.

Our current sponsor list showcases all the NCSL Foundation sponsors in one place. This page brings brand awareness to legislators and legislative staff visiting the Foundation website. Have a specific page you’d like to us to highlight? Email us.

Sponsors are welcome to share position papers on Our Sponsor Views webpage. This is a great opportunity to make your organization’s views known to our constituents.

NCSL Today Sponsor Spotlight

Twice a week, NCSL Foundation sponsors are highlighted in NCSL Today, a curated e-newsletter of timely and relevant state legislative policy news. One of NCSL’s most popular resources, NCSL Today reaches 24,000 individuals including every U.S. state legislator and many legislative staff. The Sponsor Spotlight (see example below) includes a link to your website and a 50-word message about your company or the specific work you are doing. To participate, please fill out this webform with your organization’s information and desired language.

NCSL Newsletters

You will automatically be signed up for the NCSL Foundation e-newsletter. NCSL also offers a variety of e-newsletters on a wide range of policy issues. You can view a complete list of our offerings and subscribe here.

Meet With NCSL Policy Experts

Have questions about a particular policy issue? Schedule a time to meet with NCSL policy experts at the Denver or D.C. office, by phone or video chat. Mentorship Program

As a new sponsor, you are invited to participate in the Foundation’s Mentorship Program. NCSL will pair you with another Foundation sponsor to show you the ropes and how to get the most out of your sponsorship. To sign up, contact Emily Peterson.

Board of Directors

The NCSL Foundation’s volunteer board of directors is composed of corporate and union executives, as well as state legislative leaders and senior legislative staff who have a long history of working in and around state legislatures. Check out our board of directors.

Annual Report

Every year, the NCSL Foundation produces an annual report to highlight the past year’s awards, events and accomplishments. View the last three annual reports and annual Foundation videos.

Recognition at NCSL National Meetings

If you are a Capitol Circle or Platinum sponsor, your logo is automatically featured on signs at national NCSL meetings, including the NCSL Legislative Summit, the nation’s largest gathering of state legislators. Please email us your organization’s logo (we accept .eps, .png or vector files). If you don’t want your company to be featured, please contact Caroline Carlson.
